Dennis Bakari Nakamya
Master of pottery, now teaching apprentices
- 🇰🇪 Kasarani, Nairobi, Kenya
- Kasarani Workshop
- Since 1978
- English, Swahili
My trade is pottery. I opened my own shop in 1978 in Kasarani and I'm still there most mornings.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 23 years later for another job.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.

What gifts mean to Dennis: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
