Dennis B. Stokes

Children's librarian in Bakersfield

  • 🇺🇸 Bakersfield, California, United States
  • Bakersfield Public Library
  • 2002 to 2015
  • English, Spanish
I worked at Bakersfield Public Library from 2002 to 2015. If there was a question, we'd find an answer, or at least a book that might help. I never once raised my voice. A library should feel like a living room. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
