My subject is civil engineering, and for 14 years I get to share it with undergraduates at Istanbul Institute of Technology.
Former students now work as a radio technician and in a dozen other fields. It is the best part of this job.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Deniz
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
What gifts mean to Deniz: Any gift helps me keep buying books for students who can't afford them.
