Denise Powell
Modern history lecturer, Since 2012
- 🇺🇸 Los Angeles, California, United States
- Los Angeles University
- Since 2012
- English, French
My subject is modern history, and for 14 years I get to share it with undergraduates at Los Angeles University.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I'm learning the guitar.

If you wrote a dissertation with me, I probably still have a copy on my shelf.
