For 15 years I was the environmental science teacher at Andes High School. I taught the youngest children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I coached the school's netball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Denise
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the planetarium, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
