For 21 years I've run the boxing program at St. Joseph's Swimming Club in Leicester. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Denise
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Denise: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
