I taught physics at Manchester Technical College in Manchester from 1982 to 2004. Most days I taught Year 10, and I never once raised my voice.
Outside the classroom I sing in a choir. Inside it, I never once raised my voice.
More about Denise
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
