Denise A. Brooks
Retired mathematics teacher from Houston Public School
- 🇺🇸 Houston, Texas, United States
- Houston Public School
- 1996 to 2023
- English
Houston Public School was my second home. I taught mathematics there from 1996 to 2023, mostly Grade 6.
I ran the school newspaper after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I'm always reading two books at once.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Denise
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
