I've been a nurse for 32 years, most of them in surgery at Fairview Regional Medical Center in Strasbourg. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
