Delilah F. Lane
32 years teaching social studies in Tampa
- 🇺🇸 Tampa, Florida, United States
- Kingsway Grammar School
- Since 2003
- English, French
I came to teaching late, after working as a night-shift cleaner, and 23 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 440 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Delilah
If you were in my Year 9 class, you probably remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam.

What gifts mean to Delilah: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
