Deirdre Kenny
Youth athletics coach and mentor
- 🇮🇪 Dublin, Leinster, Ireland
- Dublin Football Club
- Since 1987
- English
I've coached athletics at Dublin Football Club since 1987. Most of my players were between 12 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Deirdre
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
