Deirdre Kane

Flute player and teacher in Limerick

  • 🇮🇪 Limerick, Munster, Ireland
  • Limerick Ensemble
  • Since 1985
  • English
I've played flute since 1985, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach. I teach about 15 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I bake for the whole street at New Year.

More about Deirdre

I write my first song when I was 19. It was terrible and I still love it.

What gifts mean to Deirdre: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
