Defne Sevgi Erdoğan
Master of masonry, now teaching apprentices
- 🇹🇷 Istanbul, Istanbul, Türkiye
- Old Istanbul Trades Guild
- Since 2006
- English, Turkish
I'm a masonry specialist. If you live around Istanbul, there's a good chance I've worked in a building near you.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I carry a notebook everywhere.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Defne
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Defne: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
