I've grown potatoes since 1982, with a bit of rice on the side. I'm up before the sun most days.
I teach local school groups about where food comes from. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
What gifts mean to Defne: Any gift will help me fix the irrigation before the dry months.
