Deepika Jayanthi Jayawardena
Master of masonry, now teaching apprentices
- 🇱🇰 Negombo, Western, Sri Lanka
- Andes Shop
- Since 2002
- English, Sinhala
I've worked in masonry since 2002. I learned from my mother and passed what I could on to 1,270 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 22 years later for another job.
More about Deepika
If I fixed something for you, I hope it's still holding.
What gifts mean to Deepika: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
