Deepika Dinusha Yapa
Choir director and singer
- 🇱🇰 Colombo, Western, Sri Lanka
- Colombo Valley View Quartet
- 1984 to 2018
- English, Sinhala
I've played sitar from 1984 to 2018, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach.
I'm usually the first one in and the last to leave.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Deepika
I wrote my first song when I was 22. It was terrible and I still love it.
What gifts mean to Deepika: I'd put a gift toward recording a small album.
