For 24 years I've mentored people in software and engineering. Mostly it's coffee, honest feedback and a lot of listening.
I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Deepak: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
