My trade is tiling. I opened my own shop in 1998 in Ahmedabad and I'm still there most mornings.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I walk the dog by the river.
More about Deepak
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
What gifts mean to Deepak: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
