Deepak Mahesh Khadka
Coached rowing for 20 years in Kathmandu
- 🇳🇵 Kathmandu, Bagmati, Nepal
- Lotus Football Club
- 1979 to 1999
- English, Nepali
I coached rowing at Lotus Football Club from 1979 to 1999. Most of my players were between 10 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I'm always reading two books at once.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Deepak: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.

you coached me in 2023. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Haarlem.
