Deepak G. Arora

Athletics coach, Oakland Swimming Club

  • 🇺🇸 Oakland, California, United States
  • Oakland Swimming Club
  • Since 1987
  • English, Spanish
For 39 years I've run the athletics program at Oakland Swimming Club in Oakland. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather. Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I learn every name in the first week. I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

More about Deepak

Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
