I came to teaching late, after working as a mechanic, and 32 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 1,660 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Deepak
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Deepak: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me religious studies in 2017 at Mumbai Public School. I still remember the quiz night we nearly won.

You taught me religious studies in 2017 at Mumbai Public School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.
