Deepak A. Randhawa
Master of painting and decorating, now teaching apprentices
- 🇮🇳 Ludhiana, Punjab, India
- Since 1987
- English, Hindi
I've worked in painting and decorating since 1987. I learned from my grandfather and passed what I could on to 700 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I'm always reading two books at once.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Deepak
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Deepak: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
