Deepa S. Joshi
Master of pottery, now teaching apprentices
- 🇮🇳 Hubballi, Karnataka, India
- Since 1997
- English, Hindi
I've worked in pottery since 1997. I learned from my father and passed what I could on to 1,360 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I like to keep things simple and honest.
More about Deepa
If I fixed something for you, I hope it's still holding.
What gifts mean to Deepa: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
