Deepa R. Chandrasekhar
Master of bicycle repair, now teaching apprentices
- 🇮🇳 Rajkot, Gujarat, India
- Rajkot Works
- Since 1987
- English, Kannada
I've worked in bicycle repair since 1987. I learned from my aunt and passed what I could on to 1,910 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 11 years later for another job.

What gifts mean to Deepa: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
