For 21 years I have been the economics teacher at Silverlake Girls' School. I teach primary school children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I'm always reading two books at once. Inside it, I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Deepa
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

You taught me economics in 2010 at Silverlake Girls' School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard
