Deepa N. Tripathi
Teacher at Our Lady of Peace Middle School, loves social studies
- 🇮🇳 Thane, Maharashtra, India
- Our Lady of Peace Middle School
- Since 2002
- English, Spanish
I came to teaching late, after working as an accountant, and 24 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays. Inside it, I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Deepa
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Deepa: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me social studies in 2016 at Our Lady of Peace Middle School. I still remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam.
