I've worked in welding from 2003 to 2021. I learned from my grandmother and passed what I could on to 360 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I answer every message, eventually.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Deepa
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
What gifts mean to Deepa: Any gift will help me keep the workshop open for evening lessons.
