Helping people break into teaching
- 🇮🇳 Rohini, Delhi, India
- Good Shepherd Youth Network
- Since 2016
- English
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 220 people through Good Shepherd Youth Network.
I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Deepa
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Deepa: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
