I've coached boxing at Pune Community Club since 1989. Most of my players were between 11 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never turn anyone away.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Deepa
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Deepa: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
