Deepa A. Sundaram
Master of baking, now teaching apprentices
- 🇮🇳 Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India
- Lotus Trades Guild
- 1993 to 2011
- English, Telugu
I've worked in baking from 1993 to 2011. I learned from my aunt and passed what I could on to 740 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I try to remember everyone's name.
What gifts mean to Deepa: Any gift will help me keep the workshop open for evening lessons.
