I've been a nurse for 29 years, most of them in rehabilitation at Willow Creek Children's Hospital in Bandung. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I run most mornings.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
