Declan S. Howard
Auto repair for 37 years in San Francisco
- 🇺🇸 San Francisco, California, United States
- The San Francisco Shop
- Since 1989
- English
I've worked in auto repair since 1989. I learned from my mother and passed what I could on to 1,670 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 13 years later for another job.
More about Declan
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Declan: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
