Local leatherwork and baking
- 🇳🇿 Christchurch, Canterbury, New Zealand
- Bamboo Trades Guild
- Since 2001
- English
I've worked in leatherwork since 2001. I learned from my aunt and passed what I could on to 1,130 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 22 years later for another job.
More about Declan
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.

What gifts mean to Declan: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
