Declan J. Mahony
36 years teaching English literature in Kilkenny
- 🇮🇪 Kilkenny, Leinster, Ireland
- Kilkenny Academy
- 1989 to 1998
- English
Kilkenny Academy was my second home. I taught English literature there from 1989 to 1998, mostly Grade 11.
I coached the school's netball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Declan
If you were in my Grade 11 class, you probably remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.

What gifts mean to Declan: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
