Declan Hughes
Teacher at Hope Primary School, loves home economics
- 🇮🇪 Cork, Munster, Ireland
- Hope Primary School
- 1993 to 2022
- English
For 29 years I was the home economics teacher at Hope Primary School. I taught Grade 6 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
More about Declan
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Declan: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
