Declan H. Thornton
Engineering mentor, Fort Worth
- 🇺🇸 Fort Worth, Texas, United States
- Redwood Mentoring Circle
- 2011 to 2023
- English, Spanish
For twelve years I've mentored people in engineering and careers. Mostly it's coffee, honest feedback and a lot of listening.
I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
More about Declan
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.

What gifts mean to Declan: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
