Declan G. Bailey
Environmental science and physical education teacher, Birmingham
- 🇬🇧 Birmingham, England, United Kingdom
- Birmingham Girls' School
- Since 2011
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a night-shift cleaner, and 15 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've coached the school's athletics team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Declan
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Declan: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me environmental science in 2023 at Birmingham Girls' School. I still remember that terrible school play.
