I teach special education at Petrópolis Academy in Petrópolis since 1990. Most days I teach mixed-ability classes, and I never raise my voice.
I've coached the school's athletics team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Débora
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Débora: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
