Débora Gabriela Castro
Mentor in small business and first-generation students
- 🇧🇷 Belém, Pará, Brazil
- Belém Community Trust
- 2017 to 2025
- Portuguese
For eight years I've mentored people in small business and first-generation students. Mostly it's coffee, honest feedback and a lot of listening.
Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Débora: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.

You helped me get my first small business job in 2022. I still have your notes. Greetings from Nnewi.
