Dawit Yonas Worku
Statistics and music teacher, Mekelle
- 🇪🇹 Mekelle, Tigray, Ethiopia
- Frangipani Academy
- Since 2017
- English, Amharic
I teach statistics and music at Frangipani Academy, Mekelle. I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I've coached the school's football team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Dawit
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

You taught me statistics in 2025 at Frangipani Academy. I still remember the time the class pet escaped.
