I've coached baseball at Entebbe Youth Club since 1987. Most of my players were between 9 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I learn every name in the first week.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
What gifts mean to David: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
