I coached basketball at Redwood Boxing Gym from 1995 to 2017. Most of my players were between 9 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I answered every email, even at midnight.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about David
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

you coached me in 2004. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Wellington.
