David L. Thomas

Home economics teacher at Greenfield Boys' School, 1991 to 2023

  • 🇦🇺 Cairns, Queensland, Australia
  • Greenfield Boys' School
  • 1991 to 2023
  • English
For 32 years I was the home economics teacher at Greenfield Boys' School. I taught Grade 4 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.

More about David

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

Subjects taught

Home economics
What gifts mean to David: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
