David L. Singh
Master of thatching, now teaching apprentices
- 🇬🇧 Southampton, England, United Kingdom
- Orchid Works
- 1985 to 2001
- English
I've worked in thatching from 1985 to 2001. I learned from my father and passed what I could on to 740 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 15 years later for another job.
More about David
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
What gifts mean to David: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
