David F. Washington
Self-taught woodcarving artist
- 🇺🇸 Tucson, Arizona, United States
- 1978 to 2009
- English
I work mostly in woodcarving, sometimes embroidery. My first show was in 1978 at Old Kingsway Pottery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by my grandmother's kitchen. I watch every football match going.
More about David
I've had 7 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
Mediums
What gifts mean to David: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
