Helping people break into farming
- 🇺🇸 New York, New York, United States
- New York Learning Hub
- 2002 to 2013
- English
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 430 people through New York Learning Hub.
Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to David: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
