David A. Sanders

Traditional drumming player and teacher in Nottingham

  • 🇬🇧 Nottingham, England, United Kingdom
  • Nottingham Queensway Orchestra
  • 1987 to 2009
  • English
I play traditional drumming and folk music. I started in 1987 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness. I teach about 17 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

More about David

I wrote my first song when I was 19. It was terrible and I still love it.
