Davi Wagner Marques
Master of weaving, now teaching apprentices
- 🇧🇷 Olinda, Pernambuco, Brazil
- St. Mary's Shop
- Since 1992
- Portuguese
I've worked in weaving since 1992. I learned from my older brother and passed what I could on to 1,460 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I'm usually the first one in and the last to leave.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

You fixed our roof in 2004 and charged half what others asked. Greetings from Salé.
