Danuta Renata Szewczyk
34 years teaching social studies in Katowice
- 🇵🇱 Katowice, Silesia, Poland
- Katowice Public School
- 1992 to 2008
- Polish
I came to teaching late, after working as a mechanic, and 16 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I sing in a choir. Inside it, I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
More about Danuta
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

you taught me social studies in 1998 at Katowice Public School. I still remember the surprise birthday cake.
