Dante R. Alcantara

Early years teacher at Makati Primary School, Since 1982

  • 🇵🇭 Makati, Metro Manila, Philippines
  • Makati Primary School
  • Since 1982
  • English, Filipino
I came to teaching late, after working as a postal worker, and 44 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else. My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits. I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

More about Dante

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
